Automation Dr. Nix GmbH & Co. KG is a German manufacturer of handheld devices for the non-destructive measurement of coating thicknesses on metallic substrates. Our easy-to-use measuring devices are “Made in Germany”, of high quality and in demand worldwide.
Founded in 1968 and headquartered in Cologne, Germany, the company brings together all its expertise under one roof: we continuously record customer requirements, develop, design and manufacture the devices in the QNix® series and check their quality.
We work every day to develop products that meet our customers’ requirements and are easy to use. Our aim is to offer you the best possible product-related service.
Manufacture instead of mass production
All coating thickness gauges in the QNix® series are developed, produced and tested entirely in-house at our headquarters in Cologne. They are therefore “HANDmade in Germany”. In our own calibration laboratory, we thoroughly test every coating thickness gauge and issue it with a test certificate. Only then will it be on its way to you. This high manufacturing quality is reflected above all in the durability of our products.
